Am 13. Mai 2008 hat die INTEGRA Holding AG, Wallisellen die Übernahme von 25.5% des Aktienkapitals der INTEGRA Hindustan Control Ltd., Vadodara, Indien (IHC) von der ABB Indien bekannt gegeben. Zu der Grösse der Transaktion werden keine Angaben gemacht. Durch diese Transaktion hält die INTEGRA Holding AG neu mit 51% der Aktien die Kontrollmehrheit an der IHC, wobei die restlichen 49% weiterhin an der Börse von Mumbai (MSE) und Vadodara (VSE) kotiert sind.

Diese Akquisition, ist ein konsequenter Schritt im Rahmen der  Internationalisierungsstrategie der INTEGRA Gruppe.  Es gelingt damit der INTEGRA Holding AG ihre Position im Indischen Markt zu festigen. Zusätzlich zu dem bestehenden Geschäft der IHC im Bereich der Schaltrelais soll die Gesellschaft durch das Eingehen von Partnerschaften mit klein- und mittelständischen Unternehmen aus der Schweiz und den umliegenden Ländern weiterentwickelt werden. Die INTEGRA Hindustan Control Ltd. kann mit Hilfe ihrer bestehenden modernen Infrastruktur und Netzwerken den KMU eine zuverlässige und kostengünstige Eintrittplattform für den Indischen Markt anbieten. Die Mehrheitsbeteiligung an der IHC wird zudem auch für die gesamte INTEGRA Gruppe einen Mehrwert generieren und ist ein wichtiger Meilenstein der Wachstumsstrategie in Asien.

INTEGRA Biosciences and Viaflo Corporation join forces...

INTEGRA Biosciences AG (Chur, Switzerland) and Viaflo Corporation (Hudson, NH, U.S.A) have announced that they signed agreements to combine the two companies under the name of INTEGRA Viaflo Holding AG on July 23, 2009. The new group will be active across world markets under the brand “INTEGRA”. This move follows the signing of a successful strategic marketing and distribution partnership around one year previously.

The combining of the two companies provides for strong mutual benefits. INTEGRA Biosciences will be receiving direct access to the important US Market through the Viaflo sales network. Viaflo will receive strong representation and access to European and global markets through INTEGRA Biosciences and their large network of specialist distributors. In the USA - Viaflo will also benefit from selling the complimentary, well recognised, and established INTEGRA Biosciences product portfolio. The INTEGRA Biosciences and Viaflo products complement each other perfectly.
